Are spelling and grammar important on Hubs? Or is it for just getting the writer's ideas out there?

HubPages is a writer's site where spelling and grammar are very important. No reader will respect an article, or even blog, if the author is unaware of correct punctuation and certainly it will not create revenue. The HubPages moderators are very busy, but will locate and take down low quality Hubs.

Spellings & Grammar are very important part, you have to make sure you stand out the best in terms of writing here as the competition is very high & HP Moderators will take down the low quality hubs as they go through it.

I vote down any hub I run across where the author has a low comprehension of grammar. Its important that we keep the quality of hubs up, or people will loose faith in Hubpages. Hopefully the moderators can weed the bad authors quickly ...

I don't see the importance of grammar or spelling within reason. If words are spelt like kids text, then it bothers me but other then that, I really don't care. Being a writer and proper grammar are irrelevant to me.It's the story that matters.

I think that spelling and grammar are very important on HubPages. I have a hard time reading hubs or questions that are written poorly. Hubs with poor grammar and spelling will not be taken seriously.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
