Don't know if Shaq will have that huge an affect. He isn't nearly the player he was when he was younger. He still averages around 18 points and 8 rebounds per game but will turn 38 later this next season.
Since he won't have to be the star, it's possible if he can play like he did last season that it will be enough to get Cleveland over that final hurdle.
As of right now, no they won't. As of right now, I don't even see them getting to the finals. They didn't lose to the Magic because they couldn't stop Dwight Howard, they lost because they couldn't stop the pick&roll, which Shaq will not help against at all.
What the Cavs need to do in order to put themselves in position to even MAKE the finals is to get a big guard who can score. Mo Williams and Delonte West were simply too small to take on Boston or Orlando's backcourt, and now Orlando has added Vince Carter, which will make it even tougher. If the Cavs get a big guard who can be a reliable scorer next to LBJ, they can make the finals. As far as winning the finals, that hinges on a lot of things and it is way to early to call it.
If the Lakers can bring back Odom, Ariza and most importantly Phil Jackson, I think they may still be the favorites, although the Spurs are looking really good with their trade for Richard Jefferson. In the end of it all, how about we wait until the rosters for next season are a little more set before we try this question? Between trades, free agency, and random injuries, it's near impossible to make a real prediction on this.
O'Neal is getting too slow and clogs up the middle on offense. Ask the Phoenix Suns fans.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
