I am planning a trip to Disney World in mid October. We are taking my 12 y.o. Nephew, and this will be his first Disney trip.
He really wants to go to the water parks. But I have never been to either water park myself, and I'm not sure if they are open or if it will be too cool for swimming. Has anyone ever been to the water parks in the fall?

Yes, they are! I've been to Disney World twice, both times in December. Florida has a very warm climate and the water parks are normally open all year round. At least they were about 4-5 years ago.
You should check with disney.com just to be sure. You wouldn't want to get there and find out you packed your swimsuits for nothing. We didn't go to the water parks either and if they are closed there are plenty of other great things to do while in Disney World.
Hope you all have a really great times, those are some of my best memories. Disney I believe they always have one of the water parks open. I think they have three. Blizzard beach was my fave.
You can check the website to see which one will be open. Sometimes they shut down for construction. You can see this before you book your trip.
When we went last in the month of Sept/Oct Water Country was shut down for construction but Blizzard Beach was open. I'm sure at least one of them will be open in October. Have fun!
I love Disney can I go with? .
1 I've been there in the middle of September and it was plenty warm. I know some of the pools are heated. The only problem with the off season is that some of the attractions are closed for repairs.

2 We once went there in the early spring...the employees were wearing turtle necks under their work shirts but us crazies from Michigan who considered it warm compared to what we were used to were running around in our swim suits and doing all the water stuff! The parks are much less crowded on those days! .

3 We've been in Mid-October and once late in October, close to Halloween. Both times it was plenty warm during the day for water parks and swimming. We spent a lot of time at the pool.
We're also thinking of going again this Oct.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
