They are real, but... I found the company who did the opening titles, and most, if not all, of the images you're talking about. Burrell/Durrant/fle According to their site, it looks like they took satellite still and time-lapse images and put them together to show video/movement. So, yes, the images are real, from satellites, but they were also enhanced and basically turned into moving images with some serious computer graphics and artistry.
Turns out Dutch astronaut and physician Andre Kuipers, currently doing research on the International Space Station, is quite the interstellar shutterbug. All of the captions and photos (save the last) are his. Some of these don’t even look real.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
