I haven't eaten in a FAST FOOD Resturant in over 20 years..just the thought makes me queesy.. I have known too many people who have worked in the industry and have heard some horrible storys. Also like organic food & I like my food prepared by ME or someone I actually have a repore with. I want to be fully aware of the ingredients, and I do not want some snotty nosed...teenager who hasn’t washed his hair or hands in the 72 hours fixing my food.
The last time I ate at a fast food resturant was in 1975(Before I became a vegan) I had a chili cheese dog.....from you know where DER W.....I came down with STAFF Food poisioning, that left me almost dying for 22 hours. I have to laugh when I see these people eating hotdogs, sausages etc at ballgames, theme parks, fairs and street events.......Even if I did eat meat I would NEVER take a chance and buy it from a vendor off the street...I am the same way with regular restaurants...there are only a rare few I will eat at, and I know the owner and staff...I studied to many years.....researching the food industry..and fast food is just bad for your health..its just not good, healthy, safe food......especially for your kids...there is a reason its called FAST! Remember the the ECOLI 0517 outbreak?
Jack in the Box....Under cooked meat...yes you could actually blame the meat industry because the ecoli was ALREADY in the meat, however technically Jack in the Box should not have to cremate their hamburgers for your saftey....even though a mother took her child to their fast food resturant for one child’s meal.....and it cost the child her life...she lived less then 12 miles from me. Another family went to a well known BUFFET/Salad Bar. Her 6 year old made a salad (a healthy meal) from the salad bar...it cost her, her left arm and made her blind...all because of the lettuce...and all this mother did was feed her child a healthy salad...of course this can happen in your own home, but you have the CONTROL...you can make sure the letuce/produce is washed properly..you can make sure you purchased clean organic food...When someone else is making your food, YOU JUST DON'T KNOW~and many of you JUST DON'T CARE..I have many friends who think Kentucky Fried Chicken is the BOMB!(just the thought!) We already know that the food industry isn not very goodf....we already know that the meat industry has some MAJOR issues.....then why would you risk your family’s health?
Because its fast? And cost a little less(not much) then a home prepared meal? M Maybe I am too paranoid, but I have long educated myself about what I put into my body......and if I had kids...I certainly would never take that kind of risk...I even feed my 6 cats totally organic food.

I don't get fast food but from In 'n' Out. But my wife and daughters for a while kept trying Jack in the Box and those yohos constantly slapped mayonaise on every sandwich, whatever anyone said, however many times they said it. Yes, mayonnaise tends to sicken my wife and daughters: white fat?
Regarding your question, the folks staffing Jack in the Box, whichever one my wife went to, managed to do this every time, so yes, Jack in the Box managed to sicken someone in my family every time it was visited. Thank God they dodged the e. Coli!.
1 I got food poisoning twice from the Dunkin' Donuts at Ruggles Station in Boston. That's out of a total of three times that I've eaten stuff from there. I don't go there any more.
There's a much cleaner and nicer Dunkin' Donuts five minutes away in the Northeastern campus center.

Ms. Ladybug314 replied to post #1: 2 So, you don't think it's the chain? You think it's the location?
Did you report it? .
3 Can't say that there is - because it only takes one time for me! If I eat somewhere and get sick, I never go back. Now if you are talking about the entire chain in general, I will go to other locations of the same chain.
I would thing that getting sick from the food would have more to do with the cleanliness and food handling procedures at a specific location.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
