Are there any tablet laptops capable of running Oblivion and similar games?

I have a tablet laptop and I love it for its portability when I travel. My desktop PC is getting old, and I was thinking of replacing both it and my laptop with a more powerful laptop. Ideally I'd like something as portable and light as my current tablet, but powerful enough to run games like Oblivion.

Ideally I'd like to be able to dock the laptop at home to have it hook up to my current dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals, but when I needed to travel I'd be able to pull it off the dock and take it along by itself. Because I like the idea of docking it at home I'm okay with having to use things like external DVD drives for portability purposes. It's pretty dicey trying to find a tablet with the horses to run Oblivion. Well, a quick browse through the available tablet PC's at Newegg.com shows that they all have integrated graphics cards. You may be able to get Oblivion running, but it's not going to work well or pretty.(ie, indoors might be okay, but as soon as you go into the countryside, it'll be a slideshow, not a game.

)I'd want at least an 8600M GT graphics card before trying to run Oblivion at all, and you're going to have to go into regular laptop territory to get one of those. That'll run Oblivion decently at low resolutions. If you want better than that, you're going to have to buy something heavier.

Good luck You will be hard pressed to find a tablet PC with a video card capable of playing demanding 3d games with anything resembling quality performance. Many tablet PCs have Intel graphics chips which have a very short list of games that will even run. The closest you will get is a tablet PC containing an Nvidia GeForce Go 7300 chip, which is basically a 7-series video card underclocked to reduce heat, the performance of which is equivalent to going back several generations, but which will at least let the games run, so you might get satisfactory performance with an older game, or one with the settings turned way down.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
