Are there different types of hepatitis?

There are five different type of hepatitis. These are Hepatitis A, B, C, D and E. All these five types affect the liver but in different ways.

*Hepatitis A - this is caused by HAV virus and can last for just a few weeks up to many months. This type does not cause chronic infection and transmitted by ingesting infected fecal matter, ingesting infected food or through very close contact with an infected person. Most people who become infected with hepatitis A will recover fully.

*Hepatitis B is caused by HBV virus which can be mild to severe and may last for a few weeks. It may lead to a chronic illness like liver cancer or liver disease. This type is transmitted by contact with infected semen and blood. It can also be transmitted by sharing infected needles, having sex with a person who has hepatitis B, and to a newborn by an infected mother.

*Hepatitis C is cause by HCV virus. Some cases of this will be acute but in most it develops into a chronic illness that can cause liver cancer and liver cirrhosis. This type can be transmitted by contact with an infected blood.

Many become infected with this type by sharing needles with an infected person. *Hepatitis D is caused by HDV virus. For a person to become infected with hepatitis D, they must already be infected with hepatitis B.

*Hepatitis E is caused by HEV virus and will not result in chronic infection only acute infection. This can be transmitted by ingesting infected fecal matter and most often transmitted through the water supply in underdeveloped countries due to poor hygiene. Answer: There are 5 types of hepatitis - A, B, C, D, and E - each caused by a different hepatitis virus. Hepatitis A is caused by eating food and drinking water infected with a virus called HAV. It can also be caused by anal-oral contact during sex.

While it can cause swelling and inflammation in the liver, it doesn't lead to chronic, or life long, disease. Almost everyone who gets hepatitis A has a full recovery. Hepatitis B is caused by the virus HBV.

It is spread by contact with an infected person's blood, semen, or other body fluid. And, it is a sexually transmitted disease (STD).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
