Politically correct culture has made it impossible for honest self governance when dismissal of baseless claims has universities and faculty demonized as rape apologists for finding the accused, when they're male (which they almost always are) not guilty due to lack of evidence. Look at how Duke university handled the Duke lacrosse scandal, 88 faculty members called for their arrest before any evidence had been released.

Look at Virginia uni's response, suspending a frat based solely on a completely false Rolling Stone article. All because of the moral panic that PC crusaders have whipped up in society.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
