Are USPS days numbered? Will private courier companies take over bulk of USPS business?

USPS these days is cutting its routes, has put a freeze on hiring, is always under staffed. Junk mail and coupons are all they are delivering in most cases. Online retailers are increasingly using couriers.

The invisible hand of the free market will smash all government competition. The USPS is just another doomed socialist experiment, good riddance.

Numbered indeed. The next postmark is Sept. 6.

We should go back to the principles of the Founding Fathers(, who Fathered a whole lot, sometimes with their unpaid help). They were all about Freedom, making mail truly Free, even writing it into the Constitution. Oh, wait.

The private courier companies only want the high profit margin business - leaving the USPS to handle the rest; which its government mandate does not allow it to refuse. The good news is that maybe junk mail will get more expensive; and maybe we will see less of it.

Another case of government union overreach.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
