A properly planned vegan diet is perfectly healthy. And you can certainly still exercise and do sport. In terms of what not to eat; we don't eat meat, eggs, dairy (cheese, milk, butter, cream, yogurt) or honey.
We also don't eat any foods which contain these ingredients. What we do eat is anything else! This includes all fruit and vegetables, beans, grains and grain products (such as rice, bread, wheat pasta) and products made from these such as tofu or vegan dairy replacements.
Good luck with it. X.
A healthy vegan diet is healthy. Someone told you that vegans die earlier than they should? That's just not proof of anything unless they have the scientific information to back up the statement.
Plus you don't have to be a full time vegan. You can do sports if you eat enough calories, vegan or not. If you did a diet where you ate mainly lots of fruit you could keep your energy level up because of the natural sugars in the fruit plus fruit is easily digested so your digestive system doesn't have to work that hard plus eat one regular meal a day then you'd probably lose weight easily.
Below is a good video that might help. This is the easy way to eat a mostly vegan diet. It's the way I most eat every day.
Lot's of fruit plus one cooked meal a day. I feel great.
