We certainly are living in troubled times and it seems that every hour brings even more horrific news but actually its not really that much different living in the UK as when we had the IRA loose in the country. What happens elsewhere on the planet can be seen within minutes via all forms of communications which we didn't have in the 70's. We actually see and read too much and can become stressed out very quickly and also fearful whereas in reality the chances are that little of it will ever directly impact on your life.
Sometimes its good to have a day without the internet, tv or papers just to catch up with nature and friends.
They started out as a well intentioned part of the movement seeking justice and equality. However, they have degraded over time into a racist hate group and after events in Minneapolis where they attacked peaceful protesters, I would say they are bordering on becoming a terrorist group.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
