You cannot bring a paintball gun onto a plane, and it must be in your checked luggage. That is for certain. An extra, potentially more important aspect is the air tank.
You absolutely cannot bring a pressurized air tank for a paintball gun on a plane in any way, wether checked or carry-on. The only exception to the rule is if you physically remove the regulator from the tank so that it contains no pressure and a TSA agent can look inside of the tank. At that point it is an empty vessel and can be taken on the plane.Do not attempt to remove the regulator from the tank unless you already know how.
If you do not, bring it to a local paintball shop and have them teach you how. Removing a regulator from a still-pressurized tank is bad news. I wanted to clarify the air tank portion because it would be unfortunate if you arrived at the airport with the gun in your checked luggage, only to arrive at your destination without an air tank because it had been confiscated.
This is the TSA's word on it: You cannot bring markers (aka Paintball Guns) in your carry-on luggage. Pack them in your checked baggage. We do not consider paintball guns to be firearms and you can pack them in unlocked, soft or hard sided luggage.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
