My current project, a service for connecting Biological Pathway Models with scientific publications found in the PubMed database using Text Mining technology, is called nactem.ac.uk/pathtext/ PathText. But it is not really semantic web. However my previous project is called ekoss.org/index.php EKOSS.
EKOSS (Engineering/Environmental Knowledge Ontology-based Semantic Search) is a system for sharing expert knowledge using semantic web technologies. The website provides a collaborative knowledge sharing environment where knowledge experts can submit advertisements of the knowledge resources that they have developed, such as research papers, databases and computer simulation models. It then allows users to make requests for knowledge resources related to some condition or system problem that they are studying.
The semantic search system matches user requests to knowledge resource advertisements using logical inference based on any domain ontology that is registered to the system. EKOSS is based on OWL ontologies. It does not use SPARQL, but it does use the DIG description logic interface with the http://www.sts.tu-harburg.de/~r.f.moeller/racer/ Racer Pro Reasoner And as for the industries of subject matter, we are currently focusing on knowledge related to major engineering failures and disasters as well as knowledge related to technologies for global sustainability.
I am building a Semantic web Application - "Knowledge Management system". KMS in single line " A website similar to ACM digital library ( but mine will be very simple one )." I am designing a website where one can login and browse through the documents like Conference articles, Journals, Theses.
And simultaneously even DEPOSIT any document. Now, I started my work to achieve this task .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
