The best favour you can do your cats is to spay or neuter them. They live longer and are less susceptible to diseases.
I agree with Uninvited Writer. Additionally, they become less moody, territorial, and more even tempered. The urge to run about outside is also severely reducted, along with eliminating any risks for mating if they ever should make it out.
My cats are allowing me into their lives not the other way around. I have the good fortune to feed them and bathe them and take care of them but do I have the right to make that decision which God Making the cat become tamer and less prone to go outside and live a natural cat's life...is that what the cat deserves for being your pet?
I actually think that cats are better off being spayed and neutered. It's healthier for them: did you know that female cats that are NOT spayed have a larger risk of getting mammary cancer? I adopted one of my cats when she was 2 years old (and she wasn't neutered), the more times they are in heat before they are spayed means the greater the risk of getting cancer.
She developed tumors 4 years later and shortly after passed away.
By spaying or neutering your pet, you’ll help control the pet homelessness crisis, which results in millions of healthy dogs and cats being euthanized in the United States each year simply because there aren’t enough homes to go around. There are also medical and behavioral benefits to spaying (female pets) and neutering (male pets) your animals. Your female pet will live a longer, healthier life.
Spaying helps prevent uterine infections and breast tumors, which are malignant or cancerous in about 50 percent of dogs and 90 percent of cats. Spaying your pet before her first heat offers the best protection from these diseases. Neutering your male companion prevents testicular cancer and some prostate problems.
Your spayed female pet won't go into heat. While cycles can vary, female felines usually go into heat four to five days every three weeks during breeding season. In an effort to advertise for mates, they'll yowl and urinate more frequently—sometimes all over the house!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
