As a newcomer to the world of hubs can someone please tell me how I can add material to an?

If you go to "my account" down in the page you should see your hubs and should be as easy as clicking "Edit" in front of them. If you don't have a Hub yet, you should log in to your account and look at the top-right of the page next to your account name and you shall see a "start a new hub", click on that. Then follow instructions, title, etc.After that you select the layout and click edit in each box (text, picture,etc), after editing click save and it will appear on your hub.

After you finish editing and saving scroll up and click publish.

I struggle w/ hubbing, 2. 4 now, i'm sticking 2 ex things such as answering questions according 2 my own knowledge/experience.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
