As linebacker Tedy Bruschi retires today, what was the most notable moment of his career?

There are FAR to many to even come close to saying one play or event in Tedy Bruschi's career to is the MOST memorable but listen to this game caller.. this is in a game against the Bills. From saving puppies AND their squeaky toys from a burning truck to knowing 38 different languages being American of the century, this is the best game calling I have ever heard regarding Tedy Bruschi. If I really had to pick one it would be the day the New England Patriots drafted him in 1996.

The most notable moment of Tedy's career was the moment he stepped on the field at Foxborough on Oct, 10 2005 against the Bills, nine months removed from a mild stroke. When he was introduced prior to the game, he was given what he called “the loudest ovation of my career. It still gives me chills when I think about it.

I think Bruschi’s most notable moment was playing with his kids before one of the Super Bowls. Other than that he was simply a guy who showed up to work everyday and just did his job. Tedy Bruschi retiring is kind of sad because he was the poster child for what hard work can get you in the National Football League.

He was a tough player who could have played in any NFL era and will be missed. The Patriots have lost a great leader and I hope he gets into coaching to help younger players.
