I don't think it is possible to edit the news section itself. You have a number of options: Create a Top-7 section, and place the appropriate news items in the top 7, select a 'links' or 'google search' section, where you can select or add the appropriate items, or edit the search terms that are used by the news section itself. I hope any of these options suffice, but I agree it is pretty strange we can remove links from all sections, but the 'news' section.
Mithrandir is correct, we can't delete the actual links in the news section, his advice is great. One thing you could try to do is edit the search term. Click on the edit, leave the selection title the same but try to type something different in the search term area.
Good luck!
Second @mithrandir's suggestion. I put the news section to the bottom of the page to compensate for the inability to edit the news section.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
