Ashamed to say, watched "Sister Wives" last night and was really appalled. They certainly do not seem happy and the children are so embarrassed. I sense jealousy, resentment, etc.For that little twerp of a man.
So you say , "Don't watch! " Has anyone else seen it? They actually have some positive blogs.

I watched some of it. It is easy to get a baby sitter...each has their own strengths. I would not want to share a guy with others.6000 people have died in the war since 9/11 will there be enough men to go around for the young women?
Divorce helps make enough people...but maybe supply is low long ago. I think the guy has a good deal! , but not the women..
Thanks, Shasha. If one of them is sad on a cold and lonely night, can you imagine how it would feel to know that little punk is spending his scheduled night with someone else? They all seem accomplished in their own rights, but afraid to make it on their own.
One of them seems like she might be ready to pack it in. Pammyj 9 months ago .
I cannot bring myself to watch that show because I am so peeved that the women cannot have other husbands as well. Their religion (Mormon), teaches that the man is the woman's only connection to god and that he is 'lord and master' of the house, and that it is actually god's will for the men to have many wives. These women actually buy into that garbage.
What a self annihilating belief for a woman! They are a spit in the face to all of the rights and equality that women have fought so hard to achieve in this country. These women are so estranged from who they really are, and they are so disempowered by their embracing of polygamy that they cannot see any other life for themselves.
They actually believe they are born to be the possession of the man and to give him children. They are little more than slaves, yet they will defend their lifestyle to the teeth! Talk about double standards!
When the women can also have multiple husbands, I'll watch an episode just to see the men beat each other to a pulp behind the barn. Their egos would never survive that scenario! .
I agree with on this one, which is why I've also a negative interest in "Big Love. " I think it astonishingly blind that the Quran I have includes commentary that Mohammed's command "limiting" the number of wives to four was a big step up for women's rights. 700 years after Jesus Christ said, "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female?
And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" (Matthew 19:4), and the guy thinks 4:1 is an "improvement"?
Dare I go into whom I think is behind both religions? .
Question for the intellectuals only (lol). Was Sister Wives taken off the air? It was awful, but I watched it 3 ti mes.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
