No. Your scenario comes from a Science-Fiction plot (old enough that even I remember it). The TV series was not that good, but still ran for a while.
It was re-used more recently. It is not a "conspiracy"; it is just a story, turned into a TV series, turned into a movie. My guess is that yet another movie will be coming out soon, therefore someone has decided to resurrect the "conspiracy" hoax.
(The success of using hoaxes as disguised ads for movies was demonstrated with the movie "2012"). Our DNA (and that of all animals on Earth) makes it clear that we evolved over a billion years (or so), from the RNA of plants and that of early unicellular life that started under the ocean floor (in mud cakes).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
