The 780 is the best choice. A fantastic choice in fact. It is the 2nd fastest single gpu card on the market.

Second to the nvidia titan. But a 780 is a just titan with less cuda cores and 3 gb less gddr5. But most people will never use 6 gb anyways.

The 6 gb is for high resolutions like 5760x1200 with 3d vision. And the 780 still has over 2100 cuda cores. This card will be all you need for the next couple of years.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
