I really feel Mike Huckabee has a strong voice and a tremendous grasp of what needs to happen and in what priority. I think he is one of the most honest and intelligent politicians that I have ever seen. I thought it was a shame that his background in the ministry was looked upon so negatively.
Unfortunately, in that process McCain got the nod because it was his turn which seems to be the traditional approach in the Republican Party. I am not sure that Huckabee will run but I certainly would support him if he did. WB.
I've been wondering the same thing. Huckabee may offer a good choice, but I'm not sure he has the charisma needed to beat Obama. The Republicans, sad to say, have good candidates who are intelligent and experienced, but not enough who have that "je ne said quoi" quality that gets voters excited.
The other day I was contemplating a Mitt Romney/Jon Huntsman ticket. Of course, the GOP won't put up a two mormon ticket, but I think it would be a strong ticket. Republicans would still vote for them (over Obama) and they could pull a lot of moderate/Independent votes.
I'm really curious whether they will be smart and united with their selection or if the ultra-conservative elements will be completely unreasonable and reject any candidate who is relatively moderate. If they put up someone who satisfies the Tea Party, I don't think they'll have a chance.
Just curious. It's hard to gauge real news versus misinformation from overseas, not sure what's going on in the 48 contiguous. Also, has anyone heard of the Full Head of Hair concept?
As in, no American presidential candidate with a receding hairline stands a realistic chance of being elected?
I really wouldn't discount some of the real underdogs out there, such as Herman Cain. At this early point it is really anyone's game to win. I will tell you that a John McCain cannot happen again.
The Republicans will need a candidate who is a clear alternative to Obama.
Looking as Mit has RomneyCare aka obamacare, I'm looking for a Mike Huckabee win...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
