You are absolutely correct. There is no evidence only faith. So then what is it that upsets you so much when others say faith is not enough.

Are you worried that your faith is misplaced or something because others find no reason to believe? If you quite calling your faith a truth backed by evidence when you know it is not, people will quite drawing your attention to the fact that your "truth" is based on faith not evidence and faith is not enough. Isn't that precisely the kind of closed minded thinking that St Augustine warned against? I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
