1. Complete lack of evidence for his existence. I don't really need any more than that.

It's a lie, just chainge the word god with the word chewbacca and tell me that it makes sense.

I don`t argue with myself. I`m not emotionally conflicted. I have observe and concluded that one doesn`t exist (or more than likely doesn`t exist).

Well there is not one ounce of credible evidence in the slightest. Theists don't seem to realise that hallucinations, dreams, a feeling, delusions etc is not in any way evidence! The god theory is just one very simplistic and big assumption.

There's really only one: No evidence that gods (including the one in the Bible) exist.

The Christian god is false because the definitions offered either make it factually incompatible with science, supernatural by definition, or inherently illogical. 1) Epistemological Atheology. 2) Pratityasamutpada.3) "God is an atheist"...Fermi estimate of zero gods in existence....and these are not "arguments for disbelief in a god", these are priori proofs which show that the existence of any god is not possible.

The Universe is trillions times trillions times trillions times trillions of light years across. Do you really believe there is something out there that can create something that big? If so, do you think god/gods would care about one planet that can't even be seen?

It's not actually a "disbelief' - it's NO belief - there's subtle difference. Like everyone else I was born atheist. I was seven when I first heard about *the* imaginary little space chap... LONG before I knew much about anything let alone science being a concept even... LONG before teh internets.

The biggest is lack of evidence. I see evidence for the power of belief, but none for an actual God. People interpret nature as evidence of God, but nature is evidence of nature.

Prayer doesn't work. We see evidence from the multitudes of religions and sects that believers can not agree about God. The biggest evidence against the christian God being real it the bible itself.It is in alignment with the intelligence, bigotry and intolerance of the writers of that time.

Every testable claim made by religion has been proven false. There is no supernatural. What you think is supernatural is something natural that has yet to be explained.

Atheism is simply and exclusively not believing in gods, deities or divinities. There is nothing else implied or inferred by the word atheism. Anything beyond that an atheist may do, say or believe is not a function of their atheism but of something else.

Since you capitalized the G in 'god,' you seem to be asking about the god Christians believe in. Atheists don't believe in any gods, not just the Christian one. You know there are thousands of gods right?

In any case, as an example of what I'm talking about above, in addition to being an atheist, and in reaction to my once being a Christian and researching Christianity and the Bible as well as secular disciplines like science, biology, physics, anthropology, psychology, ethnobotany, linguistics, etc, etc, etc, I have been able to form an argument showing the Abrahamic god definitely doesn't exist. This isn't why I'm an atheist, this is why your god doesn't exist: 1. No objective evidence whatsoever for the existence of gods.2.No suitable theistic definition for gods that is testable or definitive.

2b. Only when you start defining gods as ideas can you start working with the definition.3. The only stated reasons to believe are subjective, conjecture, anecdotal and open to interpretation.4.

Therefore, the only rational approach to the existence of gods isn't to contemplate an existence, but to study the belief of gods.5. Religion is entirely a cultural artifact.6. The Bible itself records a story that talks about the beginnings of belief of gods. The Fall of Adam and Eve is the story of when we invented gods to justify the Agricultural Revolution.

There is not a shred of evidence that any of the thousands of deities created by humanity have ever existed and there is nothing believable about the Bible. The Bible is a bunch of fairy tales.

Education and intellect! Academia states that in the absence of any sort of evidence of the existence of something it must be deemed not to exist until verifiable evidence is found - thus god is held not to exist pending some sort of verifiable evidence. The bible is what is called "Faction" A fictional story set in a factual time and place.

Thus the time, place and real historical characters are all correct but the fictional characters and stories are not! There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death! He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record? Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter! At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed! The Roman Emperor Constantine produced the bible and he was a pagan not god!

He took the Jewish religion, organized it into Christianity and then into the Holly Roman Catholic Church! Not in Israel or any of the countries of supposed origin but entirely ITALIAN! Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until several hundred years after the period the story is set in!

How did the apostles write their books more than a hundred years after they would have been dead? What a wonder full disinformation and deception campaign he waged against his Jewish enemies by turning them into his invented Christianity - so good in fact that Christians are still following the deception to this day! The first person to provide a shred of verifiable evidence for God will become world famous and mega rich!

Ain't happened yet and it never will! So how does this primitive belief in a god survive? The answer is simple and very down to Earth Acceptance of a supernatural claim tends to promote cooperative social relationships.

This communication demonstrates a willingness to accept, without skepticism, the influence of the speaker in a way similar to a child's acceptance of the influence of a parent. By encouraging this kind of behavior where the most intense social relationships occur it facilitates the lack of skepticism and deters more open minded thinking. They are christian, Muslim or the other religions depending where they were born simply because they were indoctrinated by their parents as very young children.

They will go on to indoctrinate their own children and those will go on to indoctrinate their grandchildren! Atheists have the intellect to see through the conditioning and escape into the real world! Agnostics have the intellect to see through the conditioning but lack the courage to throw of the conditioning entirely.

Sadly Christians, muslims and others are still held firmly prisoner by the self perpetuating brainwashing!

Many millions have suffered terribly and lost their lives because of this atheistic way of thinking. Atheism kills, because without God there are no rules - anything goes! Atheists are at the forefront of efforts to legitimize abortion euthanasia, drug-taking prostitution pornography and promiscuity.

All those things cause misery, suffering and death. Atheism is the philosophy of death. Now atheists have no logical alternative but to accept that Jesus is God: “I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.

” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the Devil of Hell.

You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God; or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
