Atheists, what do you think is the best way to help a former Christian stop believing in God?

I think it's impossible. Besides, why would one want to? Now that I have been awakened to the fact that the Christian god is a mass-murdering dictator, I wouldn't want to worship said god anyway.

I think you still haven't completely rid yourself of the cancer of religion. You are much better off without belief in religion. If you want to believe in God, then go ahead, but religion will screw you up--all that fear of hell and such.

Just be a good person because its the right thing to do.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
