You can't 'promote' something that does not exist. There is no 'atheism'. There are atheists, though.
But we are not members of some hypothetical philosophic school called 'atheism'. We do promote critical thinking. Maybe that would be a better term.
There is no such thing as "atheism", only atheists, because the suffix "ism" would denote some kind of doctrine, which does not exist, and therefore, there is no dogmatic method to "convert" others. "They attempt to destroy the faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ in other people, here on R&S. Thus they serve satan, whether knowingly or not." <------ This is and example of doctrine, an attempt to persuade the ignorant that any atheist is simply "evil", trying to reconcile the fact that we reject their religion by equating us with some perceived "devil".
These are the ravings of a person that has been rigorously indoctrinated, effectively stunting their ability to use reason.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
