Atheists why do some people hate Christopher hichens?

Some people hate him because he is an atheist, some hate him because he is an elitist, and others hate him because his arguments are too sound for them to comprehend. Personally, Christopher tchens was one of my favorite atheist authors( I own his tch 22 book and it is awesome. ).

I am sad that he died though. :(.

Atheists do not have prophets lol. Christopher tchings was an intelligent writer with many a true word to say. Prophets tend to be full of s h I t.

Nobody cares about him...go to croaked off celebs.

I agreed with a lot of what he said, but he was often flippant and sarcastic when it was uncalled for.

I know atheists who couldn't stand him, largely because of his political views. He was brazen and controversial. That's what I admired about him.

If you are going to call out a dead man, at least spell his name correctly..

Seems to me it's pretty easy to pick on a dead man. We do not have prophets, but tchens was a great advocate for Atheism He espoused intelligence, charm and rationality. I consider it a damn shame I never met him.

They realize a security blanket is being pulled away that was never there in the first place.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
