The Russians built a Supersonic plane that was bigger than Concorde - often called Concordski (I beleive they may have stolen the plans for Concord - they look very similar and it was during the height of the cold war). Its proper name was the Tupolev Tu-144 and it made its maiden flight in 1968. Unfortunately it crashed at the Paris air show in 1973 - which lead to it quickly being scrapped.
Especailly after the modified Tu-144D also crashed in 1977. The Russians are working alongside the west on the TU-144L - but whether this will ever see the light of day (Concord was a great plane but not a commercial success) - will remqin to be seen in this hopefully "greener" world. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
