Besides sign language, what are some other methods deaf people use to communicate?

There are many ways! > Speechreading - reading the lips, expressions and body language of another person. > Closed or open captions - displaying descriptive text on movies etc.> Cued speech - a form of sign language involving a small number of handshapes representing consonants and vowels.

> Writing things down on paper. > Online chat/instant messenger. > Text messaging.

> CapTel - running captions of your call provided on your phone while you have a phone conversation with someone. > Telephone relay service - phone calls relayed through a third party - suitable for deaf, hearing impaired and speech impaired people. > TTY (telephone typewriter) - like a text messaging system through a landline phone line.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
