There was only one Assault rifle in WWII, the German StG 44. That was the first firearm to coin the term "Assault Rifle." Also, the 47 in AK47 stands for 1947.
WWII ended in 1945, so the AK47/74 platform was never used in WWII. Anyhow, both sides had some really good combat weapons but my personal favorite was the American M1 Garand.
The M1 Garand and the Karbringer 98. There was only 1 "assault rifle" in WW2 the STG44. The greatest rifles are the AK-47 and M-16 and the internet is full of arguments so starting one is a waste of time.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
