Best friend jealous of my friendship with her husband - how do I apologise?

Sam my dear - It's too late to tell you that your best friend's husband should never have been emailing you in the first place. I don't care how "cool" or "brother like" you thought he was. It was definitely inappropriate.

You really can't blame your best friend for being upset behind it. Even though your reactions were somewhat commendable by encouraging him to discuss the details of his marriage with his wife, you still should have stopped him from emailing you. But anyway, let's move on to the present.

There's not really anything you could do except just tell her the truth. Tell her you never really responded or got involved with any of her and her husbands intimate plans. Tell her your conversations were completely innocent and nothing about their marriage was discussed.

Apologize to her and promise that you guys (you & the husband) won't communicate without her ever again. Just for future reference. A relationship between a husband and his wife's best friend is taboo.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
