Whether you are right or wrong is irrelevant. What bothers me is that you insist upon making Obama the villain in all of your Questions! We should face the true facts, and realize that our whole damn government is responsible for all the messes we find ourselves in--Democrats and Republicans alike!

A President is only one branch of the government. If the Congress doesn't support him, he's becomes pretty close to being a paper tiger.

I didn't make him a villain, I simply showed an example of two statements he made that are not congruent. Should we hold our elected officials, especially the president, responsible for what they say or should we just ignore the inconsistencies and give them a pass? Directmale 14 months ago .

Name me ONE President who hasn't contradicted himself from time-to-time. Theoretically, we should hold a President or any other government official accountable for what he or she says, but since the whole government is so corrupt (Democrats and Republicans alike), I don't even bother listening to our elected officials any more! Out here in California, for example, our two battling gubernatorial candidates are throwing lies back-and-forth in such rapid succession that it's almost become a joke!

I wish you people in California would wise up and elect someone who will cut spending so people in other states don't have to send our tax money to bail your sorry butts out. Directmale 14 months ago .

Unfortunately, Miley Cyrus isn't of legal age to be elected Governor yet! .

Or just a politician doing what politicians do and telling us what we want to hear.

You had better take care if you joust a dutch windmill since the blades are reinforced and if you use the new plastic ones, that tend not to fracture, that blade will lift you and the horse right off the ground. Got anymore repugnantian mantra? Call Karl Rove and see if he has anything else.

It's difficult to know if Obama's lying about this stuff, if he's making it up, if he's just stupid, or this is all a plan to put the country in so much debt, we'd have to enact cap and trade, the VAT tax, Internet sales tax, higher income tax rates, Obamacare penalties, and so on. I personally think he drank the Koolaid and is a card carrying Communist-Socialist, as well as a tool of George Soros and the other European Marxists. Maybe one day we'll know for sure.

Commie plot! And DZ agrees with me! Acckkk.....we're all gonna die!

So did the Republicans. Why are you so tuned out to reality, Dude? "And Democrats were not the only ones who touted shovel-ready projects in 2009. Many Republican lawmakers, including their leaders, used the same rhetoric.

“With Ohio’s unemployment rate the highest it’s been in 25 years, I’m pleased that federal officials stepped in to order Ohio to use all of its construction dollars for shovel-ready projects that will create much-needed jobs,” said Representative John Boehner, the Republican leader from Ohio, in a statement in June of 2009. "The governors, mayors and other local officials assured EVERYONE that their projects were "shovel ready" as a means of getting their hands on the money. But they are also obligated to go through a competitive bid process (gee, why not just give ALL the jobs to Haliburton - that's what Dubya did!

). "“If you are talking about stimulating the economy, ‘shovel ready’ doesn’t mean get the money on Monday and start on Tuesday. But tell me something where people get hired to do work at well-paying jobs faster?

”"Take off your tinfoil hat, fella. Come back to reality. I promise you, it's not all that bad!

They should be held responsible as well if there were not shovel ready jobs. Were there or weren't there? According to Obama they were and they weren't.

Which is correct? Directmale 14 months ago .

Yes. We get it. The Mayors, Governors, Obama, Democrats and Republicans were being overly optimistic about the degree to which the projects were shovel ready.

Some were, some weren't. What is your big f'ing problem with wanting to call names (liar) and throw accusations around all the time? It's like you wake up every god damned morning with a big chip on your shoulder, then come here to vent your spleen over it.

You're either ignorant of how politics works (gee, you mean politicians LIE?! Oh golly, next thing you know you'll be telling me water is wet!) or you're trolling.

I didn't call anyone a liar. Again you are unable to differentiate a question from a statement. Directmale 14 months ago .

Again, you are unable to differentiate your fright wing propaganda from reality. Remember when you denied an obsession with race?

Remember the LONG list of your questions I compiled to prove my case? Do you just not learn? Do?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
