The binding attribute must refer an UIComponent not a plain vanilla String . And indeed, you forgot the {} around the attribute value which would make it to be treated as a plain vanilla String .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
