Black Hair wanting to dye it Light Brown with Highlights. How do I do it without spending a fortune?

1 Actually, you sound like a beautiful woman. Olive skin, dark hair....natural curls....I bet you are gorgeous just the way you are.

Avvoo_SUCHawitch! Said: 2 I don't like my black as black can be hair either sometimes. I don't blame you, but I have no clue how to do it.

3 Here's my ghastly tale: I died my hair black, thinking it was temporary. The color stuck like glue. So, I went to the salon, and my stylist put lightener on it and it took several shades out of it.

However, my hair was red before, as I had been using henna....so now, my hair was a dazzling orange. He put a brown die on it. It was passable.

But a few weeks later, I got a perm, they overdid it and my hair frizzed out. So...I shaved my head and just started all over again. However, I'm sure that's a bit drastic.LOL.

If your hair is in good condition, they can put a lightener on it and it should lighten it considerably. People do it all the time, Then, it's fun to put even lighter highlights in to give it pazazz. Even just lightening it and having it styled a few inches up can make a big difference.

Good luck! .

Also, I am SO SICK of my hair. I have an olive complexion and Dark almost black hair. I don't care that it is going to be fall I can't have this dark brown/black hair any longer!

Also, I want to cut it ( I have very long curly hair ) but I am afraid to because the longer it is the more weight it has which makes it less poofy! Can somebody please give me any suggestions. Also, I am thinking if worse comes to worse, if I MUST go seek a professional, I am thinking of going to an "Aveda" school.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
