Wow, a question tailored for me :) ... I'm a long-time Verizon member and was so excited for the release of the Tour... Pre-ordered it and everything. I returned the phone within 2 weeks. I was quite disappointed in Verizon because besides the 3.2 mega-pixel camera/ video quality and the extra 2GB memory card, I really could not understand what kind of innovation had occurred over the past 2 years to release this phone. My prior phone was the BB 8830 World Phone so yes the Tour was a bit more compact and sleek, but when it comes to functionality I may as well have ordered a curve.
The Tour also has no capacity to run mutiple apps or even seamlessly switch... anytime I wanted to quickly switch from a page on my browser to my contact book or something along those lines, the phone would pause. Anyways, returned my Tour.My contract is up with Verizon and I'm very much leaning towards the Pre, based on all of the reviews that I have read. The only obstacle at this point is not really knowing much about the Sprint Network.
I have been with Verizon for so long and never really had any issues prior to now... but it's also the most expensive network and I'm not really sure that it's worth it anymore. If anyone wants to weigh in on that would be much appreciated. DRB.
I would go with the Palm Pre it is much like the Iphone and all the features you get with it you really can't go wrong .
I’ve played with the Palm Pre and Blackberry Tour, but never actually owned those phones. But, since I’m a little tech savvy, I must say the Palm Pre out weighs overall performance and capabilities of the others. It’s the multi-tasking that makes the biggest difference especially when you need to schedule, check email, while texting all at the same time.
The Pre has a setting under Advanced Gestures in which allows you to switch applications on the fly with just a swipe on the gesture area and without having to hit the home button.
Palm Pre hands down. You are going to be able to do much more with the pre and the future development for the pre is wide open. Not like RIM devices which seem to be stuck in 2006.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
