The "Adventure" books by Willard Price I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the "Adventure" books by Willard Price. They all have "Adventure" in the title - Jungle Adventure, Underwater Adventure, etc. Each involves the brothers Hal and Roger, who go on lots of adventures because their dad travels the world as, I think, a naturalist. I adored these books as a kid, and read every one of them.

One of the best things about them was that all the amazing things that happened in them were based on fact, like in one book there was a glass jeep that travelled underwater and in another one of the boys was swallowed by a whale or a shark or something and he escaped through the gill. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
