Probably more due to the sheer number of games played than any thing else.. If you have a really great team play a really crappy one once or twice. Chances are the better teams win s them both. Have those same two teams play each other 10 or 12 times and the worst team just might win a few.

Because mlb teams play 162 games a year so when you play your division rival 18 times, odds are they will drop a game or two.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
