Brain Teaser #1! Please don't answer in the discussion board until all answers are in. :-) A fireman is running to get a net under a lady who looks like she might jump off the balcony of her 20 story apartment building.

There is nothing below her except a 20 story fall. The fireman is still 100 yards away when she falls and can't nearly get there in time. The woman is not hurt more than a bruise.

You didn't say that she fell OFF the balcony :) You only said that she looked like she was going to jump. It may be that she just fell. Perhaps she fell on her balcony or fell off the railing onto the balcony when she was trying to jump.

Because she didn't jump The fireman is 100 yards away when she falls. However, you didn't say anything about her jumping. If I fell backwards off the railing of a balcony, I'd probably have a bruise when I hit the floor, too.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
