I have an intermittent problem with the brakes on my 2006 Ford F150 4x4 Super Crew 5.4L. The symptom is that when I step on the brakes it feels like the anti-lock is engaging, I can feel the automatic fast “pumping Of the brakes with every stop, no matter how lightly I apply the brakes.
I also can hear a humming sound from under the dash when the breaks are applied. Then the next time, when I turn off and restart my truck, the symptom goes away. I’ve taken it to the Ford dealership and they can find nothing wrong.
A: False activation, 1 wheel shows a different speed than the other 3. Most likely wheel speed sensor, air gap between sensor and pulse ring or cracked pulse ring. If those all check OK could be wiring or module.
The dealer needs to monitor wheel speeds and drive until it does it. If we had looked at your car and were unable to duplicate the concern we would tell you to stop by when the concern was present and without turning the key off connect up our equipment and go ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
