A workaround until this issue is actually solved may be to createa bridge for eth1+eth2 and send the packet to that bridge. Thus it's only mapped to kernel-memory once and not twice per image.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
