If you have not plugged anything into the four pin socket near the CPU you will get no power to the processor and it will not start, you will get power to the CDs and HDs and the fans will rotate because they are on the 5v and 3.3v circuits. So the 8 pin plug will fit on the 4 socket and it will only fit one way round so you can't get it wrong, plug that in and fire it up and it should be fine. It is a nice rig but a bit overkill on the RAM, but as Vomit correctly pointed out you have bought a triple channel memory kit (3x 4Gb) for a dual channel board and really an 8Gb dual channel kit would have been sufficient.
If you couldn't figure out that you need to plug 4 of those 8 pins into the board (That 4 pin port near the CPU exists for a reason, you know) to get the thing to boot then you really shouldn't have tried building a computer in the first place. Not to mention using a 6 core CPU in a gaming computer. Enjoy 2+ cores sitting idle all day.
And 12GB of RAM? What the hell were you smoking? 8GB is already more than enough, and I seriously hope you didn't actually buy a 3x4GB triple channel kit for a dual channel board.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
