You can do the select fieldnames into TableName from Destination table as a couple answers suggest, that should be as fast as it can get (depending on how many indexes you'd need to recreate, etc).
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
