Being a 16 year old and being in the eleventh grade, I have seen a lot of bullying go on and sometimes have even been bullied myself. I think that we need to teach children to be more resilient. Kids seem to think that running to a teacher or the principal is going to solve the problem.

Now, this may work in primary school where the children revere the teachers, but in high school it doesn't really seem to work like that. I've seen people say one 'mean' comment to a high school age child and they ran off and cried and told a teacher. Now, I'm not saying that the comment did not hurt this persons' feelings but I think that if this person dealt with this bully in a more mature way, the whole thing could have been resolved.

Also, it seems that running to teachers and parents can sometimes give the bully more material to make this person feel bad. I feel that perhaps the child should make the parent aware of what is going on but try and deal with the bully themselves. Parents don't need to go storming into schools upturning tables and telling teachers what to do.

Instead, I think parents and teachers need to teach children how to be more resilient and perhaps offer gentle advice on how to deal with someone like this as I believe having a conflict resolution skills will help immensely when the child leaves school. Our generation has been called the 'bubble-wrap generation' and I believe this to be true. Children seem to think that if one little thing goes wrong in their life that they should run to their parents to fix it for them.

I often wonder how these people will turn out once they finish school and their parents can't help them any more. In short, I believe that good proportion of bullying could be resolved as children learn to be more resilient.

To stop bullies - do this meditation exercise every day: Fear processing exercise: https://ascension101.com/ascension-tools... I do the meditation exercise everyday. It will change your life immediately, the first time you do it, you will notice a big difference in yourself. Bullies will Not be able to bully you any longer.

Seriously, very quickly, within days or weeks, you get to a point that no bully will be able to touch you. And you won't have to stoop to their level. Keep doing the meditation every day.

By the way - the exercise doesn't cost anything, try it, you have nothing to lose, but you stand to gain a LOT. :) Read "Nasty People" by Jay Carter. You probably need a little instruction to interpret the traps set by bullies.

They will blame You for their actions. Basically don't listen to what they say, look at their actions. Do Byron Katie's The Work - Wow - this will change your life!

You will have real peace in the space of five minutes! Love you All! The why: - Our society and culture is based on bullying, just open any history book.

So-called authorities are not going to help you because our society is based on a hierarchy of might makes right. It just won't compute for them. Don't even bother, they'll punish the victim, not the perpetrator.

It's up to you to make yourself less of a target. You probably won't change the bully, but then, that's not your problem. If society wants to get together and change from the ground up, then I'm signed up, otherwise, I'm not going to waste my time.

The good news is, if you do the above meditation, you won't have to stoop to the level of the bully to stop them. They just won't have access to you. You'll just be a brick wall and they'll move on to the less difficult.

If everyone did the fear processing meditation there would no more targets, and bullies would have to face themselves. Wouldn't it be wonderful?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
