Law suit? I know the company. It's a gym I used to belong to.

Yeah, good luck with that. People have had great success suing spammers. If this happens to be a legitimate business, you might have some slight success suing them over the email under CAN-SPAM.

I don't know if you'll be able to get much of anything over the breach of privacy of your email. I suspect the burden of proof would be on you to show that you'd taken great pains to keep your email private. Even if you can, the actual value of the privacy of your email is probably not going to be all that high.

Unless you can show malice you're probably limited to actual damages.

Just delete it , a lawsuit would be unsuccessful , they may not even be located within the US, they may be offshore. Breach of privacy can't be proven, who's to say one of your friends didn't give out your e-mail to others? Once you give your e-mail addy to anyone, its pretty much out there for anyone, its going to get passed around.

You can sue anyone for any reason. That doesn't mean you will win. You would have to prove malicious intent or negligence.

Neither of those will be easy. Don't waste your time. It's a long shot, at best.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
