Cameron has said that the Tories will reverse the hunting ban. Does this affect whether you would vote Tory?

I'm curious to read the answers to this question myself. There have been a lot of disgruntled voices lately about Cameron and Clegg. I never doubted that letting the Tories in would be a disaster.

Gordon Brown will be vindicated when the country falls into a double dip recession and people start to feel the bite of the VAT rise and see hundreds of thousands losing their jobs. Things will get a lot worse before they get better. Then we will be back to boom and bust just as in Thatchers era.

I cannot see this government lasting 5 years. The cracks are already very obvious and getting wider by the day.

Put it this way - If you are working for a company and the company makes a profit, they are going to invest more money to expand. This makes your job more secure and eventually raises the possibility of better wages for you and your family plus more jobs for others. Yes the boss gets more money but without his investment to build the business in the first place you would have NO job!

This is how the industrial revolution made Britain the envy of the world. With people like Charles Parsons, Kingdom Brunell, George Stephenson and Co. If the boss makes no money to invest, he takes what money he has and starts again abroad.

Wouldn't you? A lot of the mess was caused by the work force ( encouraged by the unions ) wanting higher and higher wages, which is all very nice but what happens when the bosses have to raise prices to pay those wages? People start to buy cheap foreign imports and the British businesses go bust ( or sell out to foreign firms who are making money from their cheap goods ) That is why China and India are booming!

The British workers have priced themselves out of a job. We can buy everything cheaper from abroad. The Labour party are the representatives of the unions and the workers who are to blame for the mess!

Let the investors return to re-build the industries and we may ( just ) have a chance in the modern world.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
