I think vet nurse is a UK term. In the US, there are vet techs and vet assistants. Vet techs are educated and the veterinary equivalent of an RN.

Vet assistants get on the job training, but are not necessarily educated. That is my understanding, anyway.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
