Can a hubber get in trouble for copyright infringement by embedding videos in a hub?

YouTube belongs to Google and I think it's okay to use them. I don't think there is any infringement using the videos there. But just in case you could ask the team directly.

If the video on Youtube (or any other site) has the embed option available and video does not violeting copyright infrigment then it is fair game. Embedded videos are labeled CC by default, so link to source or author should be provided. And as long as Youtube player is visible, there is one.It's like embedding CC images with author's link.

As long as the video is able to embed you can do whatever you want. Youtube does not really properly inform it's users about this in my opinion (they don't make a big enough point about it) so millions of people can profit by getting higher ranks in the SERPS by simply embedding videos and writing about them using unique text.

The people who did all the original stuff sometimes don't know that they are making a ton of money from others who use their work. Poor guys huh? The same goes for a search engine.

There is nothing original about the snippets you see on the search engine results as they are part of a scraper program that copies other people's content to make billions of dollars for people like Google.

Of course you can put a script on your site to stop Google copying your text but who wants to do that since everyone is already there. Well done Google!

I think it all depends on the videos...have you ever noticed sometimes you will go to click on a video in someones hub and it will say "this video is private, please go to youtube to view it"...we are ok using videos from youtube I think because they sort of have built in protection...if that makes sense...

Possibly if the company complained to hubpages however most likely even if the infringed saw it on hubpages they would realize the video itself is on youtube and thus would contact google.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
