Can a kindle ebook be read by a nook book now?

Thanks for your response. Why can I download a kindle book to my Pc and also to my nook book, and read on my pc but can't read that file on my nook book? I can transfer form pc to nook book and or to kindle( if I had one) but fro kindle to pc to nook.

The Kindle and Nook are owned by rival companies, and use proprietary formats.

Kindle is owned by Amazon, and they do not play nicely with their competitors. Customer needs do not appear to be considered.

The reason you can't do that is because publishers require the seller of ebooks to manage the licenses for those books or they will no longer be made available to the seller. If you could download your Amazon books to the Nook or wherever they would not be able to meet their obligations to the publisher.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
