Can a Symantec Antivirus scan be performed from the boot/start up?

It's not possible to run a scan from boot with this software. You can try to get into safe mode and run the program, you may have better luck that way. The alternative would be to download the Avast antivirus free version and use it's boot scan option.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
