Section 5.1.2 of your RFC says: The Request-URI is a Uniform Resource Identifier (Section 3.2) Note that the absolute path cannot be empty So according to it, is not a valid Request URI.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
