Get a testing consent form from your school diagnostician/psychologist (called different things in different parts of the country-same thing). Bring it home to your parent-guardian to sign and tell her your concerns and fears. Have a teacher talk with her too.
Bring this signed form back to that office. An appointmet for testing will be set up (free). This type of testing is only to see how you learn.
It does not 'fail you' and the results given to your parents/teachers are only used to help plan your classes and/or services. You can talk with your parents at home what you would like and what you think would help, but the school does not have to formally start inviting you to these meetings until you are entering high school or are already in in high school.
It could be the effects of traumatic brain injury. I had an apparently mild injury in 2002. It took 8 years before I could read through a magazine article and remember the general idea of the story.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
